Benidorm, as in the rest of the Costa Blanca, has the most favorable weather for over 300 days a year. It’s been this way for centuries. The city with its mild benidorm weather, is surrounded by mountains that offer a natural protection from the cold northerly winds. This gives Benidorm an extremely favorable climate even in the wintertime. 

It’s known as a typical Mediterranean climate – Benidorm weather. The Mediterranean climate in Spain, offers long hot summers and a very moderate winter. You’ll find warm temperatures during autumn and spring on the Costa Blanca. However, summertime is the most popular with visitors. That’s because the hot weather lacks rainfall and makes it an ideal time to visit the white velvety beach. 

However, the month of many is the most popular vacation time to visit the Costa Blanca. Springtime in the Costa Blanca, Spain, offers mild sunny weather with blue skies and sparkling water. And, that nighttime temperatures range at around 10° C. During the summer months the average temperatures is about 25° C. During August, Benidorm weather is hottest in August on the Costa Blanca. The temperature can reach almost 40° C on a daily basis. Summer evenings however, do see a cooling off and overnight temperatures will be about 19° C.   

Although hot, with very high temperatures, the summertime is still the best for visiting the beaches. However, during this time the beaches can be very crowded and busy. Most people who visit this area plan to travel in the summertime. It can also be very busy and crowded during will want a rental car. If these are your plans, you should reserve your car at the same time as you reserve your flight and hotel because cars are scarce and there may not be one for you when you arrive. 

In spite of the fact that the Costa Blanca it receives little rain and temperatures remaining mild, during the autumn months rain does occur with the 10 temperatures around 20°Celsius and overnight around 20° C. The autumn months are indeed the least popular time for visiting the Costa Blanca, Spain.

Rainstorms are not uncommon, and in some cases, flooding will happen. During the month of September, you can expect numerous electrical storms. The Costa Blanca area — Benidorm Weather  — well known for mild winters is still a popular summer destination but many northern Europeans visit in the wintertime because it’s less busy and the temperature is moderate. The winter temperatures are very mild and snow almost never falls. This is still warm enough for a round of golf or relaxing outside. Benidorm has become quite a popular destination with northern Europeans looking to get away from cold winter temperatures. This is a major retirement destination. Many arrive in Benidorm for the winter returning home from Spain in the springtime.
